With the exhibition Le Juste Au Corps, a sort of retrospective, Daniel Firman confirms his impact in the contemporary world and his position as a recognized artist on the international scene.

Through the title of the exhibition, the artist reaffirms with a touch of humor the close ties that his sculptures have with dance (and more broadly with the moving body), and how this latter deeply influences his artistic approach and major concepts, which can be found in series like 'Attitude,' 'Gestes dansés (Duo),' or 'Saisir l’impossible.' In these sculptures that capture movement, one can see the legacy and influence of prominent figures in early 20th-century dance such as Martha Graham, Isadora Duncan, as well as more explicit references to the work of Rudolf Laban or Steve Paxton, from whom he borrows fundamental concepts and principles like kinesphere or contact improvisation.
