Amy Brener

Biographie

Amy Brener est née à Victoria, Colombie-Britannique (Canada). À ce jour, elle vit et travaille dans le quartier du Queens, à New York. Après avoir pris sa maîtrise en beaux-arts au Hunter College, en 2010, ses œuvres ont été exposées dans des galeries et des institutions situées aux États-Unis, au Canada, en Europe et en Chine. Soulignons, entre autres, le MoMA PS1 et le Socrates Sculpture Park de New York, le Nasher Sculpture Center de Dallas, la galerie Pact à Paris, la galerie d’art contemporain Reyes Projects de Detroit, la galerie Wentrup de Berlin, le MacLaren Art Center en Ontario et le Riverside Art Museum de Pékin. Son travail a été présenté dans des publications comme CURA, The New York Times, le magazine d’art Hyperallergic, le magazine de mode V Magazine, Artnet, la plateforme en ligne dédiée au marché international de l'art, et enfin « The Brooklyn Rail », le mensuel consacré aux arts et à la critique littéraire.
