Anna Ostoya, née à Cracovie, vit et travaille à New York. Elle a participé à des expositions individuelles à la  galerie nationale d’art Zachęta (Pologne), à la Kunsthalle Mulhouse et au Centre d’Art Contemporain Kronika de Bytom (Pologne). Son travail a été porté à la connaissance du public sur la plateforme Art on the Grid avec le soutien de Public Art Fund, à la Kunsthaus Baselland (Suisse), à la Tate St. Ives (Royaume-Uni), à la Biennale de Lyon 2015, au Musée d'art moderne, à la centrale électrique de Toronto, au Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College (USA), au manifeste 7 Rovereto et à la deuxième Biennale d'Athènes. Elle a étudié à la Städelschule de Francfort-sur-le-Main et à l'école Parsons Paris. Elle a également suivi le programme d’étude du Whitney Museum of American Art de New York. Au printemps 2021, Mack Books publiera « Politics and Passions », un livret d'art d'Ostoya à partir d'un essai de la théoricienne politique Chantal Mouffe.
