Biographie

Née en 1988 à Stamford (Connecticut-USA), Kari Cholnoky est titulaire d'une maîtrise en peinture de la Cranbrook Academy of Art et d'un Baccalauréat artistique du Dartmouth College. Parmi ses expositions personnelles et à deux, on compte « True Level » à la galerie d’art Safe de Brooklyn, NY, « Wild Blue Yonder » avec Nicholas Moenich à la galerie d’art contemporain Disturb the Neighbors de New York et « Gargantua et Pantagruel » avec Caroline Chandler à la galerie Left Field de San Luis Obispo (Californie-USA). Les expositions collectives auxquelles elle a participé incluent « Wirrwarr » à la galerie Anton Kern de New York, « The Collection as Time Machine » au Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen de Rotterdam (Pays-Bas) et « They're Made of Meat », organisée par Jennifer Coates à la galerie Platform de Brooklyn (New York). À l’été 2019, Cholnoky a été « resident student » à Worth Advisory Bovina et à Fountainhead, Miami (Floride) en 2017.
