Les tensions et les anxiétés manifestées au sein de la dichotomie entre confort et malaise sont les sujets de mon investigation. À travers l'utilisation d'installations immersives, de vidéos et d'objets, mon travail orchestre des expériences d'empathie et de connectivité à travers une physicalité réciproque. Je suis intéressé par la manière dont le spectateur prend une conscience aiguë de son propre corps à travers ces expériences haptiques.
Mon travail est centré sur l'exploration de matériaux viscéraux en relation avec le corps. Alors que je questionne les idéaux, la beauté et le grotesque, j'explore des moyens d'analyser le frottement psychologique inhérent au quotidien en poussant des actions et des matériaux banals ou innocents jusqu'à l'absurde. À mesure que le spectateur tente d'engager les matériaux, ceux-ci se défont soudainement, s'emmêlent, se déforment et deviennent abjects. Ils sont invités à un dialogue entre sensualité et répulsion, ennui et flirt, consommation et anxiété.
